do you want a web site?
If
you are reading this, you have probably already decided you
want to have a web presence. Now, ask yourself "Why?"
Do you have products or services you want to sell on the Internet?
Do you just want to provide information?
Or,
why do you want help with your existing web site?
Is
your business growing and you need more help or new tools? Do
you want to spend more time working on your business instead
of working on your web site? Do you want a new look? Do you
feel that your web site isn't all it could be, but you don't
have the time or the skills to get there?
Do
you know who your audience is or will be?
Are
you seeking new customers or are you providing information for
existing customers, or both? Who might those people or businesses
be? You can be specific here, including education, career, hobbies,
religious and political beliefs, etc.
What
are your goals?
After
answering the first two questions, you can establish some goals.
If you have a business plan, you probably already know what
those goals are. And don't be afraid to think about "what
if.." Look to the future. It's never too early to be thinking
about tomorrow, next month, next year or beyond.

Design Layout - First,
make a list or sketch out a basic design, such as this:
Start
with your Home Page and add other pages and links. It is a good
idea to look at the web sites listed on our Portfolio page and
other sites on the Internet to get some ideas.
Format
- The
next step is to make some notes on what you want your web site
to look like. Do you want a header or banner? Do you want links
to other pages and other sites along the left side and/or the
top or bottom? What pictures do you want to include? And, where
do you want your text, or general information, displayed?
Logo
- Do
you have a logo? Do you need a logo designed? We can do that
for you.
Details
and Enhancements- Do
you have a particular color scheme in mind? If not, we can offer
suggestions.
Are
there other features you would like to use? Scrolling News Bar?
