The Land Trust for the Little Tennessee helps to conserve the landscape of the upper Little Tennessee and Hiwassee River valleys by accepting gifts of land, by promoting conservation easements and, when resources allow, by purchasing at-risk properties. LTLT works to restore the landscape through technical advice and the demonstration of sustainable forestry and agriculture, streamside reforestation, invasive exotic plant control, and wetland restoration.

The Little Tennessee River Greenway is one of more than a thousand such trails snaking their way across America turning old canals, abandoned railbeds and forgotten riverbanks into green recreational corridors. The Greenway represents a voluntary local strategy to preserve scenic, natural, historic, cultural and recreational resources and promotes increased public access to the Little Tennessee River through the creation of riverside parks and trails.

Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells on the Appalachian Trail, Bartram Trail and surrounding Forest Service and National Park Trails of Northeast Georgia and Western North Carolina with experienced hiker, Marcia Roland. She'll take you out for a day or for a week, and supply most of what you'll need. Marcia also speaks to school children and other groups about the wonders of hiking mountain trails. The We Be Hiking web site will be a way for these groups to track her progress on the trail, and for her to communicate from far-off places, as well as provide a wealth of information on hiking and the services she offers.

Mary Judernatz is a fellow artist and long-time friend of this web designer so it was a natural step for NPCDesign to take on the project for Judernatz Studio. Mary was interested in making her drawings and paintings available on the Internet to reach a larger audience and, in turn, increase sales. At this time, Mary chooses not to include a shopping cart, but provides an order form to be printed and mailed with payment. This site is simple, efficient and affordable.
