Muriel Kolb Muriel Kolb wanted to be a painter even as a mere child. Thwarted in this desire for many years by rearing five children and working as librarian in the Highlands (North Carolina) School, it was only after she retired that she could pursue art seriously. A few courses and some workshops are the only training she has had. After trying several mediums she concentrated on pastels and watercolor. Collage has been a new adventure, challenging and fun.
