Nancy Pandolfi Crawford

Nancy Pandolfi Crawford has worked in many mediums and on many subjects, however, recent years have been devoted to the medium of pastel. Her technique reflects realism and detail on the point of focus, with a loose and suggestive background. Favorite subjects are animals, both feathered and furred, and generally those she has spent time with photographing, sketching and observing.

She has studied with several professional artists across the country, taught drawing and painting privately and at the college level. Her work has been shown in a number of group and solo exhibits, including exhibits at Cheekwood (Tennessee's Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art, Nashville), the Compleat Naturalist (Asheville, North Carolina), The Hambidge Center (Rabun Gap, Georgia), Bascom-Louise Gallery (Highlands, North Carolina), and the Museum of the Cherokee Indian (Cherokee, North Carolina).

Her original pastel paintings, ink drawings, and limited edition prints are in individual and corporate collections in many of the US States and both Canada and Europe.
